We’re planning to roll out feminist T-Shirts in the coming weeks and we’d like to ask for your suggestions for catchy feminist slogans.
Slogans can be in English, Arabic (colloquial or classical) or French. You can send as many as you can think of.
We’ll choose the catchiest ones and print them on our T-Shirts.
So, yalla, put your creative thinking caps on and post your slogans in the below comment box.
The comments will be closed on Friday, 18 June 2010.

Well since Arab men think the word “woman” is a derogatory term and use it accordingly, how about this:
مَرَة و حُرّة

I AM A WOMAN Therefore I AM

A WOMAN & PROUD

omg I was thinking of slogans for the past two days to make some t-shirts myself.
this is exciting.
well i came up with a queer one so far: لا تلحقني مثلية
In syria there is a saying: لا تلحقني مخطوبة
surely no one can wear that yet. but i’ll make one anyway.
I also came up with one for FTM transsexuals but i am so sure about it:
S/he’s the man.
with the transsexual sign.
I know, not so good, eh?
But the feminist one is so hard,
hmm, how about..
بئس شرف أوجدوه ما بين ساقيّ
too much arabic eh?
omg i just love thinking about t-shirt slogans!

Is there a prize or something for winning slogans?

Good girls go to Heaven
Bad girls get orgasm

مين قال انو بدي كون ست بيت؟
وحياتك مرا وبعرف سوق، غريبة ما هيك؟
للمرة المليون، سيارتي وبعرف صفٌها
Don’t be a gentleman, get the hell out of my way
my personal favorite…
شرفك معلق بإيدك مش بكسي (or other variations of that.. شرف العيلة مش معلٌق بكس مرا… and so on)
ohh and redo the “Women make policy not coffee” & “Call me Ms.”
