Position:
Project Coordinator for a Campaign against Sexual Harassment
Location:
Beirut with travel around the country
Job description:
*Work with campaign team to set the campaign’s overall strategy and plans
* Oversee and ensure timely implementation and management of all activities
in coordination with projects’ team
* Develop reports when needed and handle all financials of the project
* Develop and organize events, talks, focus groups and meetings for the
project and follow-up with the appropriate team members
* Help in Developing brochure, annual report, website and Facebook content
and other communication material
* Lead and facilitate informative and interactive sessions with diverse
groups of young women of different backgrounds
* Coordinate the production of all print material and information dissemination
Work Experience:
Not less than 2 years, preferably in managing projects
Qualifications and skills required:
* A Personal commitment to feminism and gender justice * Fluency in English and Arabic
* 2 years experience in managing projects.
* Solid organizational and planning skills
* Strong verbal and written skills as well as ability to multi-task effectively
* Ability to work in a diverse team
* Good computer and ICT skills
* A basic understanding of the social factors surrounding sexual harassment in Lebanon
* Capacity to combine field and office work.
* Demonstrated ability to facilitate trainings, discussions, and workshops.
Language Skills:
Fluent in Arabic
Good in English
Period:
Preference goes to qualified women
Duration:
12 months starting asap
Salary:
Between 1000 and 1400
